About Me

Hello, I'm Pat Tucker, the maker and teacher behind Clay Days.

I studied Fine Arts at university in Bangkok, Thailand, and began my career at IMAGE, a leading fashion magazine. I also contributed to Marie Claire and Vogue Thailand, writing about art and design, interviewing the people who mattered in pop culture — leaders, movie directors, stars, and artists, from Thailand and around the world. Those years sharpened my eye for color, form, and storytelling, and they still shape everything I make.

I've been making and teaching art since 2004. Clay is where I found my home. Working with it calms me, yet every time I open the kiln I feel the same thrill of seeing my pieces come to life. No two firings are ever quite the same.

Today I share that joy from my home studio in Houston, where I teach both kids and adults. Whether you've never touched clay or you've worked with it for years, I'd love to help you make something you're proud of.

Come play with clay. I'd love to see what you create.
